Private 1:1 work

Motherhood. Marriage. Me.

"He's a good man. But I feel resentful, and I don't want to." Somewhere inside everything you take care of, there is still you.

You are good at being needed. You notice. Remember. Anticipate. Carry. You know what the children need. What your husband needs. What needs booking, buying, answering, fixing, organising. You make a lot of life happen. And perhaps lately you've been wondering: Where am I in all of it?

Maybe it shows up as anger.

It's 9pm. Everyone is sorted. Tomorrow is mostly sorted. And you're irritated. Someone asks one more perfectly reasonable question and you want to scream. Then you feel guilty. Because you have a good life. People you love. Things you prayed for. So you turn the question back on yourself. Why am I so angry? Why can't I just be grateful? Why do I resent everyone needing me when I'm the one who keeps saying yes? Why do I want someone to take care of me — and then struggle to let them? Why don't I even know what I want anymore? So you try harder. Give more. Expect less. And somehow the solution to feeling exhausted, unseen or unsupported keeps requiring more effort from you. Maybe it's arrived in midlife. You did what you were told: the marriage, the career, the house, the children. You were promised it would feel like happiness. Now you're in your forties or fifties, tolerating less, angrier than you expected, and wondering what's wrong with you. Maybe nothing. Maybe you're shedding the shoulds.

You haven't disappeared.

But you may have adapted. Around motherhood. Marriage. Responsibility. Faith. Other people's needs. What a good mother does. What a good wife does. What a capable woman should be able to handle. Some of those adaptations are beautiful. Some were necessary. Some worked for years. Some may not fit anymore. This work is about discovering which is which.

This time, you get to be the subject.

Not: How can I get everyone else to change? And not: How can I become better at carrying everything? You. What do you actually want? What do you need? Why is receiving sometimes harder than giving? Where does guilt make your decisions? Why does disappointing someone feel so uncomfortable? Where did being useful become tangled up with being valuable? What happens when you stop keeping the peace? What parts of your own childhood have motherhood brought back to the surface? What have shame, expectation and old family roles taught you about the woman you're allowed to be? And underneath all of that: Can you trust yourself?

We don't only talk about it.

Insight matters. But knowing exactly why you're triggered while continuing to be triggered in exactly the same way can become its own frustration. My work is integrative. Depending on what we're working with, I draw from BWRT, Brainspotting, body-based emotional intelligence, parts work and inner-child reparenting, alongside practical relationship and identity work. We work with the story. The body. The belief. The old protection. And what happens when real life gives you another opportunity to do something differently.

Four lenses.

Whatever brings you into the room, we keep returning to four things.

  • Who am I being — and who am I becoming?Identity

The roles. The conditioning. The beliefs about who you need to be to be good, loved, safe or enough.

  • What is actually happening in me?Emotional Intelligence

Anger. Shame. Guilt. Desire. Grief. Resentment. Learning to understand what you feel without immediately judging yourself for feeling it.

  • What can I hold now?Capacity

Can you disappoint someone? Receive help? Rest without earning it? Hold a boundary when someone doesn't like it? Want something without immediately talking yourself out of wanting it?

  • What changes in real life?Tools

The conversation. The boundary. The request. The repair. The practice. The decision. Because self-awareness matters. So does what becomes possible because of it.

This isn't about becoming less giving.

Or less loving. Or less devoted to your family. It's about giving without disappearing. Caring without carrying everything. Having needs without building a case for why you're allowed to have them. Receiving without earning it first. Knowing what you want. Trusting what you know. Experiencing pleasure without needing it to be productive. And letting the people who love you have the dignity of showing up for you too. Your family doesn't only need what you do for them. They need access to you.

Choose the amount of space you need.

For when the work isn't only about changing a situation. It's about changing your relationship with yourself inside it.

It begins with a 90-minute assessment session. Weekly 60-minute private sessions Private Telegram support Monday–Friday Three months gives us room to work with the deeper patterns woven through motherhood, marriage, identity, family, faith and the way you've learned to move through the world. Self-trust. Shame and guilt. Boundaries. Receiving. Mother wounds. Old roles. Your body. Your capacity. Pleasure. The parts of you that learned to protect you long before you had language for what they were doing. And then we get to see what happens when you begin living differently. Not for a week. Long enough for the new way of being to begin feeling like yours.

Perhaps you don't need to find yourself again.

You're not the woman you were before marriage. Or motherhood. Or everything life has asked of you. And perhaps you're not supposed to be. The invitation isn't to go back to an old version of yourself. It's to reclaim your voice, your wants and your space, as the woman you are now. It's to meet the woman you've become. To know her. Trust her. Care for her. Let her want things. Let her take up space. And let motherhood and marriage be beautiful parts of her life without becoming the whole definition of who she is.

A few things to know.

Is this just talking?

No. There is room to tell the truth about what is happening, but we don't spend every session simply retelling your week. This is integrative work using the four lenses of Identity, EQ, Capacity and Tools, with approaches including BWRT, Brainspotting, body-based work, parts work and inner-child reparenting where appropriate.

What if other people really are part of the problem?

They may be. Your pain, anger and disappointment don't need to be explained away here. But eventually we ask: What belongs to me now? I don't work from a place where everyone else remains the problem and you remain powerless. Not because everything is your fault. Because your agency is where your options live.

Do I have to know exactly what I want to work on?

No. I'm angry all the time. I don't feel like myself. I love my family and I'm exhausted by everyone. I don't know what I want anymore. Those are all places to begin.

I'm South African and earn in rands.

There is a rand payment option for South Africans earning in rands. Reach out for local payment details.

Do you work with men?

Yes. This page speaks primarily to women because that's who most often finds my work. But I work privately with men too — particularly husbands and fathers wanting to understand themselves, their patterns and their relationships more deeply. Most come through referrals. You don't need one. If something here resonates, reach out.

I feel like a new person. I can't tell you how much I've changed in these three sessions. You put things together that I never realized and it now makes so much sense … And since I'm more relaxed my husband is too and we are doing well.

I thought I came to work with you on my sex life. But it was so much more than that. I processed grief, anger, abandonment, fear, and feeling different to my family of origin.

You have no idea how it feels for me to have found someone after all these years that I truly feel safe to share with. I trust you Tehilla and I have always struggled with trust. But you get me!
